Zilmers were asked to refresh the old sign on Norsminde Kro. The house was built by skilled craftsmen many years ago, in timbered style. The arch - as the sign sits in - is slightly asymmetric and caused some challenges.
It's a highly respected inn located in Odder - Denmark.
In order to preserve the history, we chose to keep the old sign and place a new handpainted dibbon sign on top of the old.
The old sign was carefully copied - individual imbalances were corrected and transferred to tracing paper - by hand.
The color of the new sign was adapted to the building's color scheme A good oil goldsize was added to the text of the new sign
23,75 carat pure cold were used for the gilding
